Spreading Creative Engineering
FIRE is an initiative designed to inspire students of different ages through practical and reflective activities, fostering creativity, innovation, and student leadership. Its main goal is to promote engineering in a fun and innovative way through activities ranging from drawing for children to physical/digital modeling and autonomous prototypes for teenagers. More than 1,600 students have participated across three editions!

The tools listed below can be used in both the Art and Maker Prototype categories.
In this category, participants should express ideas and solutions through drawings. The work may be technical or artistic in nature, as long as it is related to the proposed theme.
Examples include: a technical drawing of an invention or piece of equipment, an artistic illustration of a solution to a social or environmental problem, or conceptual art inspired by themes of science, technology, or engineering.
This category is intended for the creation of physical or digital prototypes, allowing participants to develop practical solutions based on the competition theme. 3D modeling projects are also accepted, provided they demonstrate a functional application or an innovative concept.
Examples include: prototypes made from recyclable or easily accessible materials, simple digital projects (using platforms such as Tinkercad, Scratch, or similar tools), and simple physical devices, such as models or manual mechanisms.
The tools listed below can be used in the Autonomous category.
This category aims to encourage the creation of robotic prototypes that operate without human intervention, using electronics and electrical components, allowing participants to apply their knowledge of robotics and programming.
Examples include: an Arduino-powered barrier that opens automatically when it detects an object using a proximity sensor; a LEGO prototype that sorts balls by color without human intervention.
⚠️ Participants must be in Level 2 or 3 to participate in the AUTONOMOUS category.

FIRE Ambassadors play a fundamental role in promoting the competition within their communities.
They are responsible for encouraging and supporting teams interested in participating.
The main goal of the Ambassadors is to promote FIRE through their own communication channels, while also fostering the spirit of engineering, creativity, and innovation in the schools and regions where they operate.
The three ambassadors who stand out the most in supporting teams, whether by promoting the competition or assisting with the registration process, will receive an exclusive gift from the SESI SENAI JACTECH team as recognition of their impact and dedication during this edition of FIRE.
